Notojima Glass Museum のとじまガラス美術館
Glass sculptures old and new, with seasonally rotating outdoor pieces
The Notojima Glass Museum displays modern glass sculptures based on concepts from famous artists such as Picasso and Chagall alongside historic Chinese and Japanese works. The 13 glass sculptures outside the museum change their appearance with the seasons.
This museum is one of the few museums of its kind in Japan. It is located on the quiet, agricultural Notojima Island.
