Katano & Kurosaki Beaches 片野海岸・黒崎海岸

Scenic, sandy beaches in the Kaga area

The Katano and Kurosaki coastlines include sandy bathing beaches popular in summer.

The Katano coast is surrounded by nearly five kilometers of protected Japanese black pines and has a cycling road through it. There are walking paths and a cycling path with views of the trees, cliffs, and the sea.

The water at Kurosaki is especially clear, and its smaller size gives it a more private feel. There is a rocky area next to the sandy beach where children search for small crabs and fish. A hut offers shower facilities.
