The Ishikawa Zoo is situated on 23 hectares of land in the city of Nomi. The zoo is home to hundreds of animals including red pandas and Asian elephants. There is a petting area where children can interact with small animals such as marine penguins, capybaras, meerkats, and prairie dogs. The zoo’s design is barrier-free, and strollers and coin lockers are available for rent.
