Serene environment celebrating the work of Nishida Kitaro
The Ishikawa Nishida Kitaro Museum of Philosophy is dedicated to the philosopher Nishida Kitaro (1870–1945), whose work incorporated Western philosophy with Japanese thought such as Zen. The three-story museum, designed by internationally renowned architect Ando Tadao, exhibits Nishida’s writings and other works.
