Cosmo Isle Hakui Space and UFOs Museum コスモアイル羽咋
Authentic space memorabilia in Japan's UFO capital
The city of Hakui on the Noto Peninsula is known for having some of the highest rates of UFO sightings in Japan. The Cosmo Isle Hakui Space and UFOs Museum leans into that legacy with a UFO-shaped building and many space-related exhibits. Authentic artifacts from NASA and Soviet space missions, including a Vostok space capsule and a real prototype of a Mars rover, are displayed alongside photos of UFO sightings. Most exhibits have English signage.
