Cape Rokko 禄剛崎

Cape at the tip of the Noto Peninsula with a historic lighthouse

Cape Rokko is at the farthest tip of the Noto Peninsula. The elevated point that juts out over the sea provides sweeping vistas of the Sea of Japan. From this point, both sunrises and sunsets over the sea are visible and vibrant.

The white lighthouse was built in 1883 to prevent the numerous accidents which befell ships sailing along the coast.
